The transient is possibly associated with IC2000; a J=11.08 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/LASR/2MASS catalogues. Its located 0.30" N, 8.20" E (0.7 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 18.7 Mpc(z=0.003) implies a m - M = 31.36.
