The transient is possibly associated with UGC05376; a J=10.98 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/SDSS/LASR/DESI/PS1/2MASS catalogues. Its located 7.14" S, 0.63" E (1.4 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 41.0 Mpc(z=0.007) implies a m - M = 33.06.
