The transient is possibly associated with CGCG008-030; a J=12.59 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/SDSS/MILLIQUAS/DESI/2MASS/PS1 catalogues. Its located 1.35" N, 0.36" E (0.5 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 80.7 Mpc(z=0.025) implies a m - M = 34.53.
