The transient is possibly associated with IC0588; a J=12.04 mag galaxy found in the NED/SDSS/DESI/PS1/2MASS catalogues. Its located 0.53" N, 4.07" W (1.8 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.023 implies a m - M = 35.05.
