The transient is possibly associated with NGC4430; a J=10.29 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/SDSS/LASR/DESI/2MASS catalogues. Its located 4.40" S, 0.13" W (0.3 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 16.0 Mpc(z=0.005) implies a m - M = 31.02.
