The transient is possibly associated with IC3225; an r=13.50 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/SDSS/PS1/LASR/DESI catalogues. Its located 0.08" S, 1.71" E (0.2 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 29.3 Mpc(z=0.008) implies a m - M = 32.33.
