The transient is possibly associated with IC3225; an r=13.50 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/SDSS/LASR/PS1/DESI catalogues. Its located 1.54" N, 2.21" W (0.4 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 29.3 Mpc(z=0.008) implies a m - M = 32.33.
