The transient is possibly associated with VCC0762; a J=13.56 mag galaxy found in the NED/SDSS/LASR/DESI/PS1/2MASS catalogues. Its located 1.50" N, 1.70" E (0.2 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host z=0.004 implies a m - M = 31.28.
