The transient is possibly associated with VCC0571; a J=13.35 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/SDSS/LASR/2MASS/PS1/DESI catalogues. Its located 0.90" S, 1.90" W (0.2 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 23.7 Mpc(z=0.004) implies a m - M = 31.87.
