The transient is possibly associated with 2MFGC09808; a J=13.42 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/SDSS/PS1/DESI/2MASS catalogues. Its located 2.38" S, 0.63" W (1.4 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 147.0 Mpc(z=0.025) implies a m - M = 35.84.
