The transient is possibly associated with NGC4466; an r=13.58 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/SDSS/DESI/LASR catalogues. Its located 0.39" S, 16.67" E (2.3 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 29.8 Mpc(z=0.003) implies a m - M = 32.37.
