The transient is possibly associated with NGC4430; a J=10.29 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/SDSS/LASR/DESI/2MASS catalogues. Its located 0.10" N, 1.79" E (0.1 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 16.0 Mpc(z=0.005) implies a m - M = 31.02.
