The transient is possibly associated with NGC4276; a J=11.66 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/SDSS/LASR/DESI/2MASS catalogues. Its located 3.97" N, 6.24" W (1.0 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 27.9 Mpc(z=0.009) implies a m - M = 32.23.
