The transient is possibly associated with NGC4334; a J=10.63 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/PS1/DESI/LASR/2MASS catalogues. Its located 2.64" N, 2.15" W (0.6 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 36.7 Mpc(z=0.014) implies a m - M = 32.82.
