The transient is possibly associated with NGC4370; an r=12.31 mag AGN found in the NED-D/SDSS/LASR/PS1/DESI catalogues. Its located 3.10" S, 2.30" W (0.6 Kpc) from the AGN centre. A host distance of 35.9 Mpc(z=0.003) implies a m - M = 32.78.
