The transient is possibly associated with UGC05376; a J=10.98 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/SDSS/DESI/LASR/PS1/2MASS catalogues. Its located 5.77" S, 2.09" E (1.2 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 41.0 Mpc(z=0.007) implies a m - M = 33.06.
