The transient is possibly associated with NGC4467; an r=14.07 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/SDSS/LASR catalogues. Its located 14.73" N, 8.28" W (1.4 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 16.6 Mpc(z=0.005) implies a m - M = 31.10.
