The transient is possibly associated with NGC4342; an r=11.97 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/DESI/LASR catalogues. Its located 14.97" S, 2.33" E (1.2 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 16.8 Mpc(z=0.003) implies a m - M = 31.13.
