The transient is possibly associated with NGC4370; a J=10.31 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/SDSS/PS1/LASR/DESI/2MASS catalogues. Its located 4.23" N, 5.47" E (1.2 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 35.9 Mpc(z=0.003) implies a m - M = 32.78.
