The transient is possibly associated with NGC4432; a J=13.32 mag galaxy found in the NED-D/SDSS/LASR/DESI/2MASS catalogues. Its located 5.30" S, 6.40" W (2.8 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 71.4 Mpc(z=0.021) implies a m - M = 34.27.
