The transient is synonymous with 2MASSJ12240373%2B0824388; an r=16.24 mag galaxy found in the NED/SDSS/DESI catalogues. Its located 0.2" (0.3 Kpc) from the galaxy core. A host z=0.077 implies a m - M = 37.72.
