The transient is possibly associated with NGC4342; an r=11.97 mag galaxy found in the NED/NED-D/LASR/DESI catalogues. Its located 14.10" S, 1.70" E (1.1 Kpc) from the galaxy centre. A host distance of 16.8 Mpc(z=0.003) implies a m - M = 31.13.
